Employability is a huge challenge which our education system is facing today. The employability of graduates varies from 2.59% in functional roles such as accounting, to 15.88% in sales related roles and 21.37% for roles in the business process outsourcing (BPO/ ITES) sector. A significant proportion of graduates, nearly 47%, were found not employable in any sector, given their English language and cognitive skills
Employability of management graduates ranges between 10 – 20% for roles involving client interaction. Employability of management graduates is below 10% for any functional role in the field of HR, Marketing or Finance. Only 7.69% Finance students are employable in the BFSI sector
Out of the 1600000 engineers that pass out every year, only 17.45% our employable in the IT services sector, 3.51% are deployed on Projects. Only 2.68% are employable in IT product companies, which require greater understanding of computer science and algorithms

Training and Placement Department has designed an Employability Program with the vision of enhancing employability amongst fresh graduates (MBA, Engineers etc.) and professionals working at various levels of management. Training and Placement department is committed to impart world class employability skills for sustained performance and career success, and to meet the ever growing industry demand for suitable talent at the all levels of management
The industry demand for soft skills has caused a severe soft skills gap between what is being taught in high schools and what industry demands. Soft Skills High assists with closing this gap by providing the curriculum and the delivery method utilizing online technology for ultimate flexibility and connectivity. The goal of our career readiness program is to help students acquire the soft skills to become successful employees and leaders tomorrow and better people today. The curriculum is aligned with the employability traits framework of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills.
